Job Description: (Sr.) Manager of Acquisition - Remote Position inside the United States

Position Description:
The Senior Manager of Acquisition is responsible for owning and optimizing paid acquisition channels to drive customer growth. This person will manage execution, performance, and partnerships across platforms like paid social, search, affiliate, offline media, and emerging channels. They will ensure campaigns deliver strong performance while contributing to broader marketing goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
● Owns and optimizes specific acquisition channels (e.g., paid social, search, display, affiliate, influencer, and emerging media like audio and CTV).
● Executes and supports acquisition strategies across channels to deliver performance against key KPIs, with ownership over metrics like new customer spend, ROAS, and CAC.
● Monitors performance benchmarks and develops insights, sharing results and recommendations with internal stakeholders.
● Collaborates closely with retention marketing and the performance marketing team on forecasting and aligning acquisition efforts with broader business targets.
● Partners with creative and data teams to develop impactful campaigns, ensuring messaging and targeting align with customer insights.
● Builds relationships with platform partners to access alphas/betas and implement new strategies that enhance acquisition performance.
● Keeps up to date with digital marketing best practices, technology updates, and industry trends that could impact acquisition performance.
● Oversees external agency partners and manages internal resources to ensure efficient execution of campaigns.
● Communicates cross-functionally with Brand, Design, Data, E-Commerce, and senior leadership to align on strategy and results.
● Completes assigned training on time and supports broader marketing initiatives as needed.
● Routinely communicates and collaborates cross-functionally with teams like Brand, Design, Data, E-Commerce, etc., and senior leadership.
Requirements:
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
● Strategic thinker who is also detail-oriented and execution-focused.
● Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and with senior leadership.
● Creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required. MBA is a plus.
● 6–8 years of marketing experience, with at least 4–5 years in digital marketing or customer acquisition (preferably in DTC beauty or consumer brands).
● Must have worked at or with an advertising agency.
● Proven experience managing acquisition channels that deliver measurable results.
● Hands-on proficiency with platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, AWIN, and measurement/reporting tools like GA-4, Tableau, and Measured.
